The actress who appeared on The Voice in 2011 and is currently starring in the TV adaptation of the popular novel of the same name, is worried about what the backlash will be about her performance on the show.
Amber Heard said on Twitter that she was “stunned” when a fan asked her if she thought her singing style was inappropriate.
“I was stunned by the fan’s comment about my style on the TV show,” she tweeted.
“I can only hope that they are not offended by the content of my singing.
My whole purpose in doing the show is to entertain, so I will not be offended.”‘

A source from the show told Variety that she’s “very worried” about what she’ll be asked to sing.
“She’s worried about her ability to perform,” the source said.
“She wants to do what she loves to do and the show wants her to sing.”
The show’s executive producer, Jonathan Littman, also said the singer’s style was “offensive” and said the show would not “be influenced by her performance”.
“I’m surprised by this comment,” Littmann told Variety.
“It’s so disrespectful and it’s a joke, but I don’t know what she means.
We all know what Amber has done on stage and it just happens to be on a TV show.”
The thing is, we’ll be able to watch her performance and make the decisions that are right for her and what she wants to say and do.
“The source said Amber has been on set with her family and that she will not sing in public.”
As a matter of fact, she’s going to be taking it in the privacy of her home and we’re going to make sure that it’s done in private, but we’re not going to tell her what to do.
“If the situation arises, she can go on stage with us.”
In a video message posted to Instagram on Thursday, Heard said she was sorry if she offended anyone.
“My entire purpose in performing is to inspire people to be the best they can be,” she said.
“So, it’s just a small thing that I can’t even begin to explain.”
